Markella Smith is, first and foremost, a mom to 3 amazing boys. Everything she does in life is done to provide them a better upbringing and life than she had herself.

She is also: A community organizer; helping to organize food and resource drives around the community to help bring supplies and resources to people who need it the most.

A small business advocate, creative and self proclaimed serial-entrepreneur; sitting on multiple boards and committees, designing jewelry in her spare time and running an amazing Gift Shop in North Mpls.

A life-long Northsider, Markella wanted to create a space that brought the feel of the village back to North Mpls, and provided space for entrepreneurs, no matter their age or race, to thrive! From that vision, The Dream Shop was birthed!

An all round ray of sunshine, she is someone who strives to always see the bright side to life!

PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD & BRING YOUR FRIENDS!  This will be promoted within Rotary and within the Black Business Community, and our goal is to grow this over time. But we need your help to promote this cultural residency and cross-culture business network!
