Maureen Hooley Bausch, CEO of the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee, will be the program speaker at the Thursday, Feb. 23, Rotary Club of Edina meeting.

Maureen Hooley Bausch was previously executive vice president at the Mall of America. She also worked as vice president of business development, general manager and director of marketing/communication for the mall. Before working for the Mall of America, she worked for Cub Foods as advertising director and was a fourth-grade teacher in Mesa, Arizona.

She serves on several boards, including the U.S. Travel & Tourism Advisory Board; Explore MN Tourism Council; MN Retailers Association; St Catherine University; and Taste of the NFL Honors/Awards.
 
Bausch was named one of Top 100 Marketers in the nation by “Advertising Age” and has won two Maxi awards, a Clio award and a Career Achievement Award from MN Sales and Marketing Executives.

She received a B.S. from the University of Minnesota–Duluth and a M.A. from the University of Minnesota in Journalism/Marketing.

The Rotary Club of Edina meets Thursdays at 12:15 p.m. at the Edina Country Club. All are welcome. Cost is $20 for lunch and the program, $12 for children. Cash, check and credit card payments are accepted at the door. A service fee will be charged on credit card payments.
