The final meeting of the Rotary year was Thursday, June 25. This was the transition meeting, where the presidency of the Rotary Club of Edina will transfer from Josh Sprague to Sam Thompson. Outgoing club and foundation board members will be honored for their service, and incoming board members will be welcomed. Congratulate Josh on a successful and extraordinary Rotary year and wish Sam an "ordinary" year filled with many doors of opportunity.The first meeting of the new Rotary year and the first in-person meeting at the Edina Country Club will be July 9.

At the meeting, outgoing President Josh Sprague will reflect on the progress the club has made and accommodating the extraordinary events of the last year. Josh will serve on the club and foundation boards next year as Past President. The theme for Josh's year was "Rotary Connects the World".Rotarians who have fulfilled their commitment on the club and foundation boards will be honored and thanked for their service!
Incoming President Sam Thompson will go over his plans and goals for the new Rotary year. His presidency will run from July 2020 through June 2021. The theme for the 2020–2021 Rotary year is "Rotary Opens Opportunities".
