Rotary Club of Edina will welcome Frank Vascellaro as program speaker at the Thursday, Sept. 7, meeting. Vascellaro is a television news anchor at WCCO in the Twin Cities. He will speak about "Q & A in Interesting Times." Longtime member Frank Cardarelle will give a Six-Carat Diamond Talk at the meeting.

Frank Vascellaro has been a television news anchor in the Twin Cities for more than 20 years. He currently anchors the 5, 6, and 10 p.m. news at WCCO with his wife, Amelia Santaniello. They are the first married couple to co-anchor a daily news program in the Twin Cities.
The Society of Professional Journalists recognized Vascellaro with its broadcast award for Investigative Reporting in 2008. He was awarded the 2011 and 2012 Regional Emmy for Best Anchor and MSP Magazine named him “Best News Anchor” in 2013.
Vascellaro and Santaniello are deeply involved with the community and frequently serve as the master of ceremonies at some of the Twin Cities premier charity events. They live in Minneapolis with their three kids and two dogs.
