The Rotary Club of Edina will welcome Arlene Vernon as program speaker at the Thursday, June 7, meeting. Vernon is a human resource strategist with over 30 years of experience as a consultant and trusted resource for a diverse group of small and medium-sized organizations. In her talk, she will explore how the #metoo movement impacts us as organizational leaders and what, if anything, we’re doing about it. Do you know whether this public discussion has affected your workplace culture? What are your employees saying privately and publicly to each other and to management? Are your employees feeling more empowered or are they now more paranoid? Nothing about this issue is simple; neither is taking a leadership stance to create a positive, open, harassment-free, discrimination-free, bullying-free culture focused on achieving our organizations’ objectives.

Thank you for helping make sure our meetings run smoothly!
Thank you for your generous support of my college career. I am glad and appreciative to be selected and recognized as the recipient of this scholarship.
I'm planning on pursing international business as a major, and the involvement that I had with the Rotary Club really had a massive impact on me confirming my goals.
With the help from the Rotary Club, I have a better chance to do well in college as I have less burden to worry about. The help that I have received gave me inspiration on giving back to society just like the motto of Rotary: "Service Above Self."
Thank you! You've made a big difference.
Sincerely,
Yifei Zhang
